PP336 Challenge Winners

Good morning everyone - Joanne here! What a great selection of entries for our clean and simple challenge this week! Anyone expecting a visit from the stork would be lucky to receive the fabulous creations you've shared with us; I was particularly struck by how many of you created beautiful cards with minimal baby sets and supplies. Thank you all so much for participating - as always, you made choosing our favourites a difficult process.

Now, before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team.

And now for our Headliner...

Julie Day

There were some beautiful clean and simple baby designs in the gallery this week, but I kept coming back to Julie's adorable teddy bear. Beautifully coloured with plenty of white space, she used some clever ink techniques to add visual interest. Little details such as the scored border and twine bows on the string holding the sentiment banner make this card stand out from the crowd. CAS perfection - congratulations Julie on being my headliner this week!

Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us!  Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here.  Please come back tomorrow for a fab Sketch Challenge from Claire!

PP335 Challenge Winners

Hi Everyone

WOW! Another fabulous gallery this week - it was wonderful to see the fabulously creative takes on green and white.  As always, you made it tough for our design team to pick their favorites and we really do appreciate your participation in our challenges.

Now, before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team.

And now for our Headliner...

Janet
I love Janet's offset squares and the different positions of the stamped leaves - these little details add so much interest and movement to the card.  The bold sentiment adds to the overall clean and simple design of the card.   All of that wonderful white space makes my CAS loving heart happy and allows the eye to focus on the leaves and sentiment.   Gorgeous CAS card.  Janet, congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week.

PP335 - A Color Challenge from Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  Jaydee here.  You guys rocked Sandy's challenge last week.  So many creative takes on the theme and, as always, you made it hard for us to choose our winners.

Our challenge this week is a color theme and it's perfect for this time of the year.  5 day's away from St. Patty's day but, as you can see from the amazing cards from the design team - these colors are certainly not confined to a St Patrick's day card.   I hope you will play along with us this week - we really want to see what YOU do with these colors.

Now - let's see what our design team came up with.

Elizabeth Stewart

Elizabeth’s card may be simple, but it really packs a punch! I love how she made use of both positive and negative space with her die cuts, and her yummy mix of sequins has me swooning! Terrific card Elizabeth, I love it!

Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us!  Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here.  Please come back tomorrow for a fun color Challenge from Jaydee!

Hi everyone! Sandy here as your hostess for this week's challenge at The Paper Players! Before we get to it, a big thank you to all of you who played along with LeAnne's sketch challenge last week. We loved seeing how you all interpreted the sketch, and the gallery was full of awesome creations.

This week it's a theme challenge that leaves lots of room for your creativity: Cut it Out! Just cut out an element of your card using dies, punches or even plain old scissors. Before you head to your craft room, let's see what the DT has to inspire you with:
