PP777 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday.

A huge thank you to all of you who played along with our Clean and Simple Floral challenge this week.  The gallery was filled with gorgeous creations and the design team had a hard time choosing their favorites.

And now on to our HEADLINER.

This submission managed to squeeze under the close off time and we are so happy it did!  Nance's tulip card is bold and beautiful.  The blues and purples work perfectly together.  The offset layout in the bottom right corner is unexpected.  The bright green of the leaves lift the darker colors and the soft blending behind the florals helps to highlight them, and ground them.  Nance's card is CAS perfection.  Congratulations, Nance, you are my HEADLINER this week.

PP776 Challenge Winners

There were some amazing creations in the gallery, however it was Leslie's sweet forest bird, beautifully framed in its ornate surround, that caught my eye this week. The bird and frame pack a colourful punch, but putting to good use her 'saved-for-later' panel of graduated stripes behind made this card a standout cascade of rainbow colour. Congratulations Leslie on being my Headliner this week!

PP776 - A Colour Challenge from Joanne

Hello crafty friends, it's Joanne here welcoming you to a new challenge at the Paper Players!  But before we get to that, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who played along with Christy's Theme Challenge.  The gallery was filled with a fabulous collection of mystical and mythical creatures. This week it's colour week and I've chosen 'colours of the rainbow' for our creative palette. Your project doesn't have to include an actual rainbow (although that's fine too!), rather it should contain a rainbow of colours as its focus. 

Now let's go see how the design team chose to incorporate a rainbow of colours on their cards!

Happy Sunday, y'all, and welcome to a new Paper Players challenge!  First off, thank you to everyone who played along with Jan's sketch last week, it's always a delight to see all the different ways to use a single sketch!
