PP699 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Joanne

Hi everyone! It's Joanne here with a Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge this week. Before I get to that, all of us here at The Paper Players want to thank everyone who participated in Jaydee’s colour challenge last week - some fabulous entries!

This week for Clean and Simple week the theme is birthday cards - we always need those! Remember though to keep your cards CAS; when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

- Have minimal layers and embellishments

- Have plenty of open space

- Are simple and uncluttered

I love Maria's soft watercolors and clean and simple design.  The red poppies really pop in all that wonderful white space.  Not adding a border or frame allows  the focal image to shine.  Absolutely gorgeous take on our challenge.  Congratulations Maria on being our HEADLINER this week

PP698 - A Colour Challenge from Jaydee

Happy Sunday, Players.

It's Jaydee here and it is my pleasure to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's color week.

This week's colors lend themselves to masculine cards, bold and graphic and just about everything in between.   The design team have sure showcased these colors beautifully.

Mary's fun fold beach card is the perfect scene for a summer day!  I love the beach and this sure captures the real feeling of being there.  The wonderful cloudy sky background is perfect to showcase the life guards hut and the little chair and umbrella are perfect to enjoy the people watching. The palm tress, seagulls and sandy beach add to the serene setting.   Congratulations Mary, YOU are My Headliner this week!
