Hey, Stampers! It's Ann, thanking everyone who played in my theme challenge this past week. What a wonderful variety of Summer Love cards greeted us in the gallery! We had so much fun checking out your creations.
Before we get to our Headliner for this week, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

Now for my Headliner:

Debbie's card is as cute as can "Bee"!  Who can resist these cute little bee faces? The freckled face bee with his stinger would make anyone smile. With its happy yellow color and great mix of patterns, this card is definitely a day brightener.  Congratulations on being my Headliner this week, Debbie!

Congratulations to all of the winners!  Be sure to pick up your badges here.

Please join us tomorrow for a fun color challenge from the amazing Jaydee.

Until then, happy stamping!

PP792 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday everyone - Joanne here, and it is my pleasure to announce the winners of this week's sketch challenge.  Firstly, a huge thank you to all of you who played along with our challenge this week.  It was wonderful to see how you interpreted the sketch and I particularly liked that some people used circles, ovals or arches for the main panel - you are a creative bunch!

Before we get to our Headliner for this week, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

Now for our Headliner:

Pat Gotsis - Instagram

There were a few patriotic cards in this week's gallery, but Pat's birthday card with a subtle nod to the red, white and blue theme caught my eye. The subtle stamped stripes, starry panel and bold blue strip accented with her pretty flower pot has a cheery, happy vibe that makes it perfect for a 4th July birthday - or a birthday on any other day, for that matter! Congratulations Pat on being my Headliner this week!

Well done to everyone and happy American Independence Day!  Be sure to pick up your winner's badges here!  And don't forget to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Ann!

PP792 - A Sketch Challenge from Joanne

Hello crafty friends, it's Joanne here welcoming you to a new challenge at the Paper Players!  But before we get to that, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who played along with Jan's Clean and Simple Challenge.  The gallery was small but mighty with some great CAS weather-themed cards. This week it's my turn to host and I have my favourite, a sketch challenge, for you. It features layers and a large panel that could be used to feature an image, embossed detail, patterned paper ... the list goes on; what will you choose?

Now let's go see what the design team have created for your inspiration this week:

PP791 Challenge Winners

Hello fellow stampers! Jan here, and it is my pleasure to announce the winners of this week's CAS Weather challenge.  Many thanks to those of you who played along with our challenge this week.  Although the gallery was small, we had lovely entries.

Before we get to our Headliner for this week, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

And now, for our Headliner this week...

Carol's gorgeously hot summer scene caught my eye immediately. The tropical sky is beautifully blended while the stencilled pool looks so inviting. Together with the beachside lounger and the tropical colours, I could feel the heatwave. The diorama window gave a clean, crisp frame for the heat outside. Congratulations, Carol - you are my Headliner this week!

You can find your Winner's Badges here.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for new challenge from Joanne.

PP791 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Jan

Welcome everyone, to the latest challenge at The Paper Players! Jan here as your hostess this week. Thanks to everyone who took on Christy's bright summer colours last week: it was a small but gorgeous gallery.

This week, I have a double challenge for you. It's Clean and Simple Week so in addition to creating us something on the theme of weather, it needs to be done in a Clean and Simple style.

At The Paper Players, we take Clean and Simple to mean a design that is uncluttered with lots of white space and few embellishments or layers.

On the weather front, you can go wild: sun, rain, snow, wind, storms, rainbows... wherever the wind blows you! Take a look at what the team have done and then have fun creating something of your own to share with us.

Challenge Rules:
  1. Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  3. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
  4. Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL, including ours
  5. Please be considerate of our requests; entries that do not follow any of these rules will be deleted without notification.
