PP776 - A Colour Challenge from Joanne

Hello crafty friends, it's Joanne here welcoming you to a new challenge at the Paper Players!  But before we get to that, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who played along with Christy's Theme Challenge.  The gallery was filled with a fabulous collection of mystical and mythical creatures. This week it's colour week and I've chosen 'colours of the rainbow' for our creative palette. Your project doesn't have to include an actual rainbow (although that's fine too!), rather it should contain a rainbow of colours as its focus.

Now let's go see how the design team chose to incorporate a rainbow of colours on their cards!

PP774 Challenge Winners

Hello Stampers,

Jan here. Thank you to everyone who played along with my sketch challenge this week. I love a sketch and I especially love seeing the diversity of projects that come from the same starting point. There were some gorgeous creations and you haven't made it easy for us to choose our winners.

Before we get to my Headliner this week, let's look at our Cut Above winners, chosen by the Design Team.

Michele F - I Card Everyone

And now for my Headliner, Amy Koenders - Stamp with Amy K

From the gorgeous wood-grained background through to the sunny heat-embossed sentiment, every element of this card worked together. The floral DSP strip picked up the blue flowers in the pot. The trio of Lemon Lolly flowers drew the eye in and was echoed in the sentiment strip. The iridescent pearl embellishments were perfectly placed to enhance, but not dominate, the focal point. I smiled the moment I saw it!

Congratulations, Amy. You are my Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all the winners - be sure to pick up your badges here!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for a theme challenge from Christy.
