PP681 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge fom Joanne

Hello everyone - Joanne here! Thank you to everyone who joined us for Jaydee's colour challenge last week - so many beautiful cards! This week it is Clean and Simple week, and I have selected the theme of "Good Luck". Your goal is to create a Clean and Simple card to wish someone good luck.  We can’t wait to see what you create. Remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge.  When The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

Let's take a look at what the Design Team has created for your inspiration:

Challenge Rules:
  1. Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  3. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.

PP680 Challenge Winners

Jaydee here.  Thanks to all of you who played along with our bright and cheerful color combo this week.  We really appreciate you participating.  We had such fun visiting all of your wonderful creations and, I know we always say this but it's true, you made it hard for us to choose our winners.

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team this week:

And now for our HEADLINER:

AMY

I loved Amy's choice of that bold green for the background.  The additional texture from the postage stamp border and tone on tone florals was such a great touch.  The white on black sentiment that went across the card helps to ground those coffee cups beautifully.  The touch of black and white twine was the perfect finishing touch.  Also, such a small detail, but it worked so well, was the addition of the black cap on the middle cup.  The touch of black there helps to frame the focal elements and tie it to the sentiment.  Fabulous card.  Amy, congratulations on by my HEADLINER this week.

Again, thank you to everyone for playing along with us.  Congratulations to all our winners! Please be sure to pick up your badges here. We hope you will display them proudly.  Come back tomorrow for a fun Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Joanne!
