PP773 - A CAS Challenge from Stef
Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to a new challenge at the Paper Players! Stef here and I'm hosting our monthly CAS challenge. But first I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who joined Ann's color challenge. The gallery was filled with so many beautiful entries! And congrats to the winners!
Now on to this week's challenge. I don't know about you but I am always in need of birthday cards. So, my challenge is to make your CAS card a birthday card with a balloon or balloons. Remember, clean and simple means limited layers and embellishments, along with plenty of "white" or open space.

I loved Colleen's window scape! The stenciled flowers in the challenge colors were gorgeous against the Lost Lagoon window frame. Her attention to detail was amazing. Two layers of vellum sandwiched between two window die cuts added depth and dimension, while giving the illusion of glass. Who can resist the raised texture of the cobblestones! The beautifully finished inside of the card is the icing on the cake. Congratulations, Colleen, on being selected as my Headliner this week!

Happy Sunday, Stampers! It's Ann! It's my pleasure to host our Paper Players challenge this week. PP771 - A Theme Challenge from Claire
Claire here and it is my turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week. Before we get the the new challenge, a huge thank you to all of you who played along with Jaydee's fun sketch challenge. It never ceases to amaze me how many creative interpretations you share with us using one sketch.
"Love Is In The Air" is the theme of the week. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, you can make a card for someone special or you can use the "Love" theme for an anniversary, birthday, thinking of you card, but make sure your card is all about love! Have fun and get creative!

I absolutely loved Bobby's bright, cheerful card featuring some of my all time favorite avian visitors! The little cardinal in his wool scarf just made me smile. The little chickadee with ear muffs made me laugh and I promise you, if the blue jays in our garden could wear Santa hats, I am sure they would! The background embossing was the perfect way to add texture, and provide a place for the little birdies to rest. Congratulations, Bobby you are my HEADLINER this week.
