Challenge # 61 Winners

Hi Everyone, Jaydee here.   What another amazing week of gorgeous creations in the gallery.  I know we say this every week, but it's true!  You really do make it very hard for us to choose the winners.  Thank you all so much for playing along with us, we really do appreciate it.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow and check out the Theme Challenge from hosted by the lovely Lesley!

LeAnne  will be back with her choice  over the next 24 hours and we will update the post.

Now, on to our winners for this week.  Drum roll, please!

Carrie's Choice:  Sandie Conner

I was drawn to this adorable card of Sandie's for many reasons. First, I LOVE the combination of colours in the Domestic Goddess designer paper. They are just so bright and fun. Second her use of the little Thank U sentiment from Pennant Parade as a little tag tied to the centre of the flower and lastly and MOSTLY - THAT BOW! WOW! I dream of wonderful paper creations like that. Sandie, thank you for your inspiration and for all of these reasons I'm thrilled to name you my Cut Above this week! Congratulations!

Ann's Choice: Marlene Peters

I was impressed with Marlene's card from the moment I saw it! First of all, the color combination of  Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Early Espresso and just a splash of Pool Party is so refreshing!  I love how she stamped the Island Indigo paper with the floral stamp from Elements of Style for a subtle pattern on her gorgeous flower.  Of course, the Calypso Coral ribbon and matching brads steal the show!  And as if this fabulous card is not enough, she crafted an awesome gift box to go with it!  Congratulations, Marlene, on being my choice for A Cut Above!

Nance's choice: Cindy Beach

Oh my goodness, how cute is Cindy’s card this week?!  I love everything about it…the colors, the sweet image and her coloring job is fantastic—she even colored the raindrops!  I love how Cindy configured the designer paper to frame the focal piece and the big loopy bow is the perfect touch!  All these put together make for one adorable card…congratulations Cindy, you’re my Cut Above!

Lesley's Choice: Christy Q

This week there were so many gorgeous entries but I just LOVED Christy's beautiful Christmas card!  Is it too early for Christmas?  NOPE!  I think she did a fabulous job creating a superb ribbon treatment and using the new stamp set expertly. Love the rich, gorgeous colours, too.  Congratulations, Christy on being a "Cut Above" this week!!!

Lauri's Choice:  Kelly

So sorry this is my last week, and it was another tough one! I love looking through all the submissions!  This week, Kelly's card is my choice for a Cut Above!  I love the color!! and love how she focused on the image from Just Believe.  Gray is the perfect neutral for the blue!  A very very pretty card with lots of great finishing touches, such as the distressing and embossing.  Congratulations Kelly for being my choice for a Cut Above this week!

Anne Marie's Choice- Shirley Pumpkin

Shirley's adorable card immediately caught my eye this week! How FUN is little Frankie, ready to hit up the 'hood for some sweet Halloween treats? I just love the fabulous color combo Shirley used, along with that spooky spider background paper. That layered lace bow is the perfect finshing touch, too. It's just so fluffy and fun!! I just love everything about this card! Absolutely "spook-tacular", in every way! Congratulations Shirley, on being my choice this week for A Cut Above!

Sandra's Choice: Susie

I really fell in love with Susie's card this week. The DSP and colours she has used have come together to make a beautiful, soft vintage look that really lets the sentiment take centre stage. And of course the lace, pearls and that stunning seam binding bow all finish it off perfectly! Congratulations, Susie on being my choice for my last week as a Summer Guest Design Team Member, for a Cut Above!
And now for our HEADLINER.
Jaydee's Choice: Isabelle

Every time I looked at the gallery, Isabelle's card caught my eye.  I loved the red striped background on the Cream card stock.  The striped background was the perfect canvas for the fabulous Christmas DSP.  The perfect little lace bow highlighting the gorgeously festive focal point.  The glitter around the edges of the focal point really made me feel as though I was looking through a frosted window.  All round, it was just a gorgeous card.  Vintage details were combined with clean and simple lines and there was no doubting that this was a Christmas card and it needed no sentiment.  Gorgeous!  Isabelle, félicitations pour être notre HEADLINER cette semaine.
