Winners for Challenge #78: LeAnne's Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  We loved seeing what you created with the challenge colors this week!  Let's see who the designers picked as their favs!

Anne Marie's Choice:
Wow! Were there ever some beautiful cards this week showcasing LeAnne's lovely color combo! As soon as I saw Manda's beautiful card, I couldn't help but go back to it again and again. I just love the beautiful shading on the floral image and the way it just pops off of the layered frame. The decorative trim and the stamped border just complete this simply stunning work of art. Just gorgeous! Congratulations Manda on being my choice for A Cut Above this week!

Lesley's Choice
Karen of Stamping in the Boonies

So many pretty cards this week and tough to narrow it down but Karen's card really appealed to me.  The classic design and the wonderful coloured image caught my eye. The embossed strip of paper is lovely with the simple floral image and the ribbon is perfect, tied in a simple knot!  All in all, a wonderful card! Congratulations Karen on being my Cut Above choice this week!

Nance’s choice:  Jen Mitchell

My jaw hit the floor when I saw Jen’s gorgeous creation!  Clean lines and fresh use of color are the hallmarks of Jen’s style and this card features all of that and more.  I love how Jen incorporated the green color by sponging inside the label frame—it makes such a soft and pretty focal point for those beautiful flowers!  The big polka dots and striped paper are the perfect graphic compliment to the floral element.  It all adds up to one stunning work of paper art!  Congratulations, Jen, you’re my choice for A Cut Above!

Jaydee's Choice:  Beverly

I absolutely loved Beverly's fun take on LeAnne's challenge.  This card made me smile and is guaranteed to make lift the recipients day.  The gorgeous coloring of the flowers and the bird really appealed to me.  I really loved the strong focal image and all that restful white space.  Gorgeous card!  Beverly, congratulations on being my Cut Above this week.

Ann is enjoying the company of other terrific stampers at Leadership this week, so her Cut Above is forthcoming!  I can't wait to hear about her fun time, especially since she'll be meeting some of the other Paper Player designers!!!

Ann's Choice:
Noelle McAdams of Paper & Ice

I am back from Leadership and thrilled to add this fabulous "thank you" card by Noelle McAdams to our Cut Above selections.  I love the gorgeous textured top panel! In addition, I love how the flower draws the eye directly to the uniquely placed sentiment.  The random stamping at the bottom of the card is perfectly executed, and anchors the layout. This is definitely a clean and simple card with a touch of "wow"! Congratulations, Noelle, on being my choice for A Cut Above this week!

For our Headliner:
LeAnne's Choice:
Dawn Braun of Dabble with Dawn

I truly enjoyed perusing everyone's creations this week!  They were a breath of fresh air during this cold winter week here in Pennsylvania!  Dawn's card caught my eye because of the cute pair of pears (especially with that little "bite" out of one!) and because she used three pretty panels, and I love things in threes!  She used the colors in a fun way and created interest with the embossed textures as well as that cute little dewdrop!  Congratulations, Dawn, on being my choice for my Headliner this week at the Paper Players!

Thank you for joining us!  We will be back tomorrow with a CAS challenge from Jaydee.  See you then!
