The Paper Players #177: A Theme Challenge from Nance

Happy New Year!  Thank you for checking in with us for our first challenge of 2014.  The Design Team enjoyed a much-needed break over the holidays and are rarin' to go!  Nance here, as your Theme Challenge hostess this week.  For me, January means a fresh start, a clean slate so I thought it would be fun to showcase projects using the Chalkboard Technique:
Now, "A Clean Slate" does not mean this is a clean-and-simple challenge.  Just feature the Chalkboard (slate, get it?!) Technique while adding as many layers and elements you wish.  For step-by-step directions on how to achieve the Chalkboard look, check out this great tutorial and take a look at the fabulous inspiration from our Design Team:

Challenge Rules:
  1. Create a NEW paper, or digital, project.
  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge submission.
  3. Please link your card to no more than three challenges, TOTAL. Entries linked to more than 3 challenges, including ours, will be deleted.
  4. Have fun!

    Great inspiration from you! Love this technique and it's been awhile since I've made a card using it. Off to do that now :)
