Anne Marie's Choice: Cindy Hall
Cindy's card is oh-so sweet and SO perfect for back-to-school! That cute little gal in her pig-tails just makes me smile! :) I especially love how she created this card as a digital hybrid, using patterned paper and digi images. It really goes to show the versatility of My Digital Studio software! The colors are so fun and all of the shiny accents are the perfect finishing touch. Congratulations, Cindy on being my choice as A Cut Above this week!
Carrie's (GD) Choice: Andrea Lowcock
Lesley's Choice: Joan Jeffery
I just loved Joan's cute card this week! The colours are so much fun and totally "elementary school"! She is a teacher!!! She made a cute border with the little kid images and the school buses! Loved the fun designer paper and the playful sketch with the ribbon. Congratulations Joan!!
Sandra's Choice: Nancy
What a fantastic back to school card Nancy created this week! I love how Nancy created her own "Back To School" background paper. So clever! And who wouldn't fall in love with those three cute little MDS kids?! The cork scallop circle and little ribbon tabs all add a terrific touch of texture. Definitely an A+ card! Congratulations, Nancy on being my coice for A Cut Above this week!
Lauri's Choice: Erica
When I think of school, I think of Arts and Crafts! When I saw Erica's fun pinwheels, I thought it would be a great back to school gift for a teacher! What kid wouldn't love to see a bright display like this! I also like her attention to the detail with the can display as well! A great way to display patterned paper too! This just makes me very happy!!! Congratulations Erica for being my choice for A Cut Above!
Nance's choice: Jen
When I think of school, I think of packing lunches...LOL! Jen's adorable little gift set is a perfect first day treat for our busy little students! I know my daughter ADORES notes in her lunch box and the clean design of Jen's good luck card is perfect! The polka dot box is perfectly backpack-sized and I love the sophisticated take on a traditional primary color palette. Those sweet little apple candy wrappers make the grade! Congratulations Jen, you're my Cut Above!
LeAnne's Choice: Cynthia
I thought Cynthia's little easel-style Post-It note holder with the apple core embellishment was just the cutest thing! Not only is it a fun way to decorate her creation, but the note holder is a useful handy-dandy thing to give as a gift (or keep for yourself!). I can't wait to try one of these myself! Congratulations, Cynthia, for being my Cut Above!
Jaydee's Choice: Susan
I loved Susan's take on the graduation theme! That cat looks so pleased with itself! When I first saw the card, it really brought a smile to my face. Then, I went to look deeper at the actual card and there are so many fabulous details: the texture on the background card stock, the scalloped edges, the little piece of ribbon, the punched edge and, of course, a gold star! I absolutely loved the clean and simple, sophistiCATed take on this challenge. Susan, congratulations on being my Cut Above choice this week.
