PP740 - A Theme Challenge from Jan

Hello everyone, or as we say in New Zealand, Kia Ora! Welcome to a new challenge at The Paper Players. I’m delighted to be your hostess this week.

It was a pleasure to go through last week’s gallery and see all the wonderful and varied responses to LeAnne’s sketch challenge. Thank you to everyone who participated.

This week, it’s theme week and I’ve chosen ‘Recycling is In’. I’m hoping that you will find a way to recycle something or repurpose something in whatever you create this week.

Here's some fabulous inspiration from the design team to get your ideas flowing:

PP739 Challenge Winners

Hello stampers, LeAnne here! So much fun to see all your submissions using my sketch this week!  Let's see what the design team chose as their favorite Cuts Above:
Colleen Begley

Michele Ferguson

Amy Koenders
Stamp With Amy K

And finally, my choice for Headliner

Sandy

I loved the nautical theme Sandy chose! The clean, crisp images work wonderfully against the sailboat background paper, and that sweet diecut sentiment is perfect for a masculine card!  Congratulations, Sandy, you're my Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all our winners! Be sure to pick up your badges HERE! And be sure to stop back tomorrow for a new challenge from Jan!

    PP738 Challenge Winners

Hi everyone, it's Joanne here! I want to thank everyone for playing in my clean and simple challenge this week. There were so many fabulous cards gracing the gallery and whilst some of them pushed the boundaries of clean and simple, there was a plethora of things that fly. There were the usual birds, bees and butterflies, but also a few less obvious appearances, from helicopters, to dragons and even that perennial Ghostbusters favourite, slime! A fabulous collection of 'winged things'. The Design Team had our work cut out for us in picking out the winners.  Before we get to my choice for HEADLINER, let's see who was selected as our three top choices for CUTS ABOVE:

And now for my choice for Headliner:

    Deborah Wheeler

Of all the winged creations in the gallery this week, it was Deborah's Christmas fairy that captured my heart! Simply coloured using just three main colours, the subtle sponged blue behind highlighted the image beautifully and the addition of the soft stencilled stars were the perfect finishing touch to this clean and simple beauty. CONGRATULATIONS Deborah, YOU are my HEADLINER this week!

Congratulations to all the winners!  You can pick up your winner's badges HERE.

Don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new sketch challenge from LeAnne.
    Until then - Happy Stamping!

Hello everyone - Joanne here! Welcome to this week's challenge at The Paper Players - I'm your hostess for this week. PP737 Challenge Winners

Hi, Stampers! It's Ann! I want to thank everyone for playing in my color challenge this week. There were so many beautiful cards gracing the gallery. The Design Team loved what you created. We certainly had our work cut out for us in picking out the winners.  Before we get to my choice for HEADLINER, let's see who was selected as our three top choices for CUTS ABOVE:

    A. Rose

    Colleen Begley

    Tracy Grauer

And now for my choice for Headliner:

    Lisa Elton

Lisa's charming birdhouses and sweet sentiment brought a smile to my face. After all, who can resist a pink striped birdhouse? The hemstitched panel added interest while keeping a clean and simple vibe. The pearl accents made this "pearl lovers" heart happy. Congratulations, Lisa, on being my choice for Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all the winners!  You can pick up your winner's badges HERE.

Don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new Clean and Simple challenge from Joanne. Until then, happy stamping!
