PP810 - A Theme Challenge from Claire

Hello Crafty Friends!  Claire here with this week's theme challenge. But before we get to those details, I would like to thank everyone who participated  in Christy's sketch challenge!  There were  so many fabulous creations!  We loved visiting all your blogs!

This week's challenge is PLAID!  I love plaid and I thought it would be fun to create projects with horizontal and vertical bands or stripes crossing each other to create crisscross or checkered designs.  We always see lots of plaid in clothing and in decorating.  A few types of plaid could be buffalo, gingham, tartan, windowpane and Glen plaid.  We can't wait to see what you create!  Be sure to check out what the Design Team has created to spark your imagination!

Challenge Rules:
  1. Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  3. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
  4. Please link your card to no more than four challenges, TOTAL, including ours
  5. Please be considerate of our requests; entries that do not follow any of these rules will be deleted without notification.
  6. Have fun, and thank you for playing with us!

  2. Plaid always makes me think of cosy scarves and autumn afternoons, so this theme immediately appealed to me. I like that you’ve included everything from gingham to windowpane, giving us plenty of directions to explore. I’d be tempted to try a simple tartan background with one small sentiment. Thanks, Claire, for such a lovely prompt! diploma
