Paper Players Challenge #134 - Winners

Happy Saturday! Thanks to everyone who played along with my sketch challenge this week.  I know we say this every week, but with so many fabulous cards to choose from, you definitely made it difficult to select our winners! Before we get to the Headliner, let's have a look at the Design Team's selections for A Cut Above.

1. Ann's choice: Janneke's card has it all - a beautiful image with a perfect balance of color, pattern and texture. Congratulations on being my pick!	2. Brian's choice: Sian's card is a stunner. The textures really take this beautifully simple card to another level. Congrats, Sian, for being my pick!	3. Justin's choice: Danielle's CAS card using my current favorite stamp set is great. The punched hearts are a nice added detail! Congratulations Danielle on being my pick this week!
4. Amy's Choice: The mix of the dsp patterns and the stamped bunnies, as well as the colors she used is so fun and just makes me happy. Congrats, Connie for a great card!	5. Sandy's choice: I loved everything about Laura's card: the neutral colors, the newsprint, the pierced layer and the sparkly flower. Congrats Laura!	6. Nance's choice: With impecable design & perfectly placed details, Tara's sweet cupcake card stole my heart. Love the papers, the colors & the vertical twine. Fabulous card! Congrats, Tara!
7. Anne Marie's Choice: Deb's card is simply stunning! I love the clean design and the fussy-cut detail on that flower is awesome! Congrats, Deb!	8. Jen's Choice: Tenia's fun card ticked all the boxed for me, love the texture and the layers. Congrats on being my cut above

Joyful Creations with Kim

I fell in love with Kim's sparkling butterfly. There is a level of formality (the black frame, the crisp white background) mixed with whimsy (the stylized sentiment and the open cut butterfly) that really appeals to me.  The double venetian stripe was a great way to handle the vertical image and the fact that the image is open really helps to ground the butterfly without overwhelming it.  Gorgeous card!  Congratulations, Kim on being my headliner this week.
