Winners - Paper Players #199 - Jaydee's Color Challenge

Hi everyone!  Thanks to all who played along with my color challenge this week! As always, you made it very difficult for us to choose our winners.

Before we get to the headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team:

LeAnne's Choice - Diane
Score at Four and a Quarter

Diane's clever creation made me sit up and take a second look!  Besides the fun way she did her diagonal embossing, the little signs were such a cute addition!  A great masculine creation that could be "adjusted" for any occasion, not just Father's Day!  Congrats, Diane, on being my Cut Above!

Sandy's Choice: Tenia
Jazzy Paper Designs

How much fun is Tenia's adorable birthday monster?! That goofy smile and googly eyes made me smile big-time, and the stitched garland was the perfect finishing touch. Congrats, Tenia! Love your creation and great use of the challenge colors! You are my Cut Above!

Ann's Choice - Colleen
Colleen's Americana card caught my eye immediately.  The star paper is absolutely adorable, while the square of burlap provides the perfect touch of texture. The "Hello Handsome" sentiment is perfect for a variety of occasions. What a wonderful masculine card! Congratulations, Colleen, on being my choice for A Cut Above!

Nance's choice: Gail
The bold graphics of Gail's graduation card popped out of the gallery.  The small amount of red really pops on all the blue and I love how the chevron patterns line up perfectly between the embossed panel and the patterned paper.  Love the texture and the little mortarboard.  Congratulations Gail, you're my choice for A Cut Above!

And now, Jaydee's choice for Headliner:

 Gem

2014-June-9a

Gem's cupcake looks good enough to eat!  I love the texture and sparkle she created for the frosting.  The two little cherries were the perfect finishing touch.   The repeated stripes at the bottom of the card anchor the sentiment and draw even more attention to it.  I love the mix of horizontal stripes on the sentiment and the vertical stripes on the cupcake.   All that, with the addition of the blue circles, make for a fabulous card.   Congrats on being my Headliner this week.
We hope you will join us again tomorrow as we celebrate our TWO HUNDREDTH CHALLENGE!
