Winners for Challenge #70...Anything Goes {Fall}

Fall was certainly in the air last week, and your fabulous creations for Challenge #70...Anything Goes {Fall Theme} proved it! We loved visiting your blogs and seeing your cards and projects.

Let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team this week...
For A Cut Above:
Anne Marie's Choice: Michey

Michey's card is simply full of "fall-tastic" charm! The clean design really lets all of her awesome details take center-stage. She was really rockin' and rollin' those fall colors on the leaves (one of my favorite techniques) for beautiful shading. Then to top it all off, she shared a super-cool technique to add shimmer paint to her design, using crumpled up cellophane. Such a fabulous idea, with a beautiful result. Congratulations to you, Michey on being my pick for A Cut Above this week!

Cindy's Choice:
Diane Vander Galien

Diane's beautifully inked wreath, created with stamps from the Autumn Days stamp set, is so clever and so appealing.  This is one of those cards that truly inspires me.  I love her use of designer paper, as well as the layers and textures.  Diane's attention to detail, such as the spritzing and sponged edges, are what gives this card the truly finished and professional look.  Congratulations, Diane!  You're my choice for "A Cut Above" this week!

    Tara's Choice: Rosemary D

I must really be attracted to sparkly things because Rosemary's glittery leaf drew me right in. I just love the  depth and sparkle of this focal point. The simple layout enhances these deep rich autumnal colors of gold and cherry cobbler especially with that beautiful bow. The two toned sentiment and little brads finish this card beautifully. Rosemary created a simply beautiful, rich, fall card for this challenge. Congratulations, Rosemary, for being my choice for Cut Above this week!

Nance’s choice: Dawn Braun

Oh. My. Gosh!!!  When we said Anything Goes, Dawn took that idea and ran with it!  Well, actually she wound it…around and around and around... :-) This yarn wrapped wreath is stunning!  From the gorgeous shade of burnt umber on the wreath to the brown, red and sage of those gorgeous felt flowers, Dawn has created a fabulous one-of-a-kind project that will be treasured for years to come.  Dawn, your creativity and out-of-the box thinking with this gorgeous wreath makes you my choice this week for A Cut Above…congratulations!

Julie's Choice: Michelle Bala
Clean & Simple = Simply Stated.  That's what I love about this card.  At first glance, you notice the beautiful fall colors that Michelle has chosen.  But as you look a bit closer, you can see all of the finer details that she's included.  The scored lines create the perfect frame for this simple design.  The masking of the sentiment allows these two wonderful images to meld together.  And to finish it off...3 perfectly placed rhinestones.  Michelle, congratulations on being my Cut Above this week!  I love how you brought everything together.

LeAnne's Choice: Nancy Lempinen

Ooh, this card caught my eye right away---these fall colors Nancy used are so rich and intense, they popped right off the page!  I love that she stamped on paper that had some script and pattern on it....it is such a cool look, and the embossing ties it all together.  The diecut frame creates the most beautiful effect; it makes me feel as if I am looking out a  window on a cool autumn day!  And those sweet little acorn tags--how can you not like this card?!  Congratulations, Nancy, on being my Cut Above this week!

Lesley's Choice-Donna

I loved Donna's orginial card this week! Not only did it have a "touch" of Fall but it had lovely clean lines, which I always admire. The sweet little paper swirls and the embossed leaf were such lovely details! I also thought her bow, being turned around, looked like a butterfly. Fresh, pretty and unique! Congratulations Donna on being my Cut Above this week!

Jaydee's Choice: Narelle

I fell head over heels with Narelle's vintage inspired, monochromatic take on our challenge this week.  Even though there were so many vintage elements, the overall feel of the card is still clean.  The cluster of leaves with the bow is gorgeous.  Each layer has interest and is all tied together so beautifully by this sophisticated color scheme.  Gorgeous!  Congratulations on being my Cut Above this week, Narelle.

And on to our Headliner:
Ann's Choice:  Vicki Dutcher
All I Do Is Stamp

Vicki Dutcher never disappoints! Her cards are always classy with a touch of elegance! Of course, I was immediately drawn to this card because of the fabulous fall colors!  But closer examination reveals a treasure trove of details.  There is the richly embossed oval, the doily backdrop, a rosette and jewels! The result is a card which is sure to be treasured by the recipient.  Thank you so much for sharing this eye candy with The Paper Players this week, Vicki! And congratulations for being my pick for this week's Headliner!
Thank you to all who participated...you amaze us each week with your talent.  Be sure to join us tomorrow to see what the always fun Anne Marie has cooked up especially for you!  Thanks for stopping by!
