Paper Players Challenge #433 - Clean and Simple - Jaydee

 Hi, Stampers! Thank you to everyone who played along with Claire's fabulous rainbow color challenge. It was so wonderful to see all of the cards created in rainbow hues gracing our gallery. This week we have a One Layer Wonder Clean and Simple challenge for you.


What do we mean by One Layer Wonder Clean and Simple?
  • A single layer and minimal embellishments
  • Plenty of open space, aka "white" space
  • Simple and uncluttered

PP432 Challenge Winners

Ishani's "Super Hero" stole my heart!  I love the stenciled rainbow and the bright vibrant colors she used to color her bear.  The wobbler on the back made it extra fun and I know seeing it personalized with the recipient's name was even more special!  Congratulations Ishani, YOU are my Headliner this week!

PP432 - A Color Challenge from Claire

Hello, stamping friends! Claire here as your challenge hostess this week.  So glad you are here!  Before we get to our new challenge, all of us at The Paper Players would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who participated in Anne Marie's lovely Spring theme challenge last week.  Thanks for sharing your awesome creativity with us! 


This week, I have a fun color challenge for you.  In March, we think of leprechauns with  pots of gold, warmer weather, Spring rain storms, kites, unicorns and all kind of ways to spread love with rainbows!  Have fun!  We can’t wait to see what you create.

Challenge #431 Reminder and A New Guest Designer Announcement


I have two important things for you in this week's reminder post: firstly, there is still time to play in Challenge #431: Anne Marie's Theme Challenge. Secondly, I am delighted to announce we have another guest designer that will be joining us for the rest of 2019 to work alongside our existing guest designers, Su Mohr and Wanda Cullen, and the rest of the paper Players team. We are thrilled to be joined by the talented Windy Ellard - here's a little introduction to help you get to know her better:

I have been stamping and paper crafting for 21 years now.  I got started with scrap booking but I wanted to stamp my page titles and make my own backgrounds so was introduced to stamps and ink which has become a habit - I mean hobby - ever since.   

I have been married for almost 29 years and we have two awesome adult children, Amanda is 23 and Cole is 21.
Stamping is my hobby and creative outlet but I do love to travel.  It gives me lots of inspiration for my hobby in styles and colors. I love the beach and being on and in the water. Living in Florida, I get to have lots of beach and pool time.
I love to play in challenges like The Paper Players because they do challenge me to create.  I am pretty good with color combos but have a hard time with layouts for my projects and these challenges help me. My favorite is when there is a tic-tac-toe challenge and I can pick!
I am really excited and feel blessed to be a part of The Paper Players design team. 


Welcome Windy to the team - we are excited to be working with you and look forward to you sharing your fabulous creations with us!

PP431: A Theme Challenge from Anne Marie

 This week, I have a fun theme challenge for you.  I think a lot of you might be ready for a change of season (and no more snow!) so I thought it would be fun focus on projects with a “Spring Fever” theme this week.  Think butterflies, florals, little critters, spring holidays, sunshine, cheery colors…basically anything that says SPRING to you.  Have some fun!  We can’t wait to see what you create.

Amy's card is breathtakingly beautiful! The floral focal point is colored to perfection with a trio of  colors that work so well together.  With its subtle background and simple embellishments, it maintains a clean look. This card is perfect in every way...and made this Layer Lover's heart go pitty- pat! Congratulations Amy on being my choice for Headliner this week!
