Vicky Hayes - Crafting Clare's Paper Moments

Vicky's simple little two-tone boat, bobbing along the stencilled waves, reminded me of many fun bathtimes when my children were younger and loved to play with sailboats just like this amongst the bubbles. paired with the straightforward sentiment it is a perfect clean and simple card that would make any little boy (or girl) happy. PP455 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Joanne

Hi, Stampers! Joanne here, ready to tell you all about this week's challenge. But first, the Players would like to thank everyone who participated in Jaydee's color challenge last week. It was amazing to see the gallery filled with pops of colour amongst all of the black and white! 

This week is our monthly Clean and Simple challenge, and we have added a 'cards for kids' theme.  You card can be for any occasion - birthday, back to school, encouragement, congratulations, get well soon - but it must be for a child and it must be in the 'clean and simple' style.  By Clean and Simple, we mean cards that meet the following criteria:

Minimal layers and embellishments
Plenty of open space, aka "white" space

Simple and uncluttered

This is going to be so much fun! But before you grab those stamps and inks, be sure to check out what our design team has created for your inspiration!

I love Mary Anne's bold use of stripes and the silver is just gorgeous as the third color.  The chevron paper works so well with the stripes of that wonderful little Zebra.  The placement of the leaf is perfect, especially with the zebra looking out over it.  Fabulous card.  Congratulations, Mary Anne, on being my HEADLINER this week.
