Hi everyone! Sandy here as your hostess for this week's challenge at The Paper Players! Before we get to it, we'd like to thank everyone who played along with LeAnne's 'Sew Much Fun' challenge. Your creations were all 'sew' awesome!

For this week's challenge I have a sketch for you to play along with. Feel free to go wherever your inspiration takes you, clean and simple or lots of layers. PP381 Challenge Winners

Hi everyone!  Thank you to all who "sewed" up their clever creations last week...I adored each and every one!  So many beauties!  Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team this week.

My Ink Imprint

Oh my, where do I begin?  A perfect clean-and-simple design, Denise uses neutrals of white, vanilla and black to highlight her stunning vintage dress form image.  I love how she stitched around each panel in black thread, then added the black buttons and pretty pearl-tipped pin!  And just for a little snark, the sentiment echos the cry of moms throughout the centuries: "because I said sew!" Loved it!  Congrats, Denise, enjoy being the Headliner this week!

PP381 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from LeAnne

Hi everyone!  It's LeAnne here with a new challenge for you!  First, thanks to everyone who rocked Laurie's red, white and kraft theme....SO many awesome entries with that classic color combo!  This week, I have a clean-and-simple challenge for you, one that's near and dear to my heart! Sewing used to be one of my favorite pasttimes, but in the last few years, stamping has risen to the top of my "favorite hobby" list!  But I can combine the two, right?...stamping AND sewing!  So we want to see something sewing-related on your clean-and-simple creation!

I knew from the moment I saw Lisa's gorgeous Valentine that it was the winner!  I kept going back to look at it.  SWOON! I love the layers and layers of details.  The gorgeous red and white stripes just pop from behind the beautiful flowers, hearts, foliage and candies.
