I got so many new watercoloring ideas!  But now it's time for a new sketch....we can't wait to see your creative talents at work this week!

Hi Everyone.  Thank you to all of you for participating and sharing your wonderful creations.  Once again the gallery was filled with amazing cards and it was difficult for our design team to make their choices.

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, lets see what caught the eye of the design team:

1. Joanne's Choice: Linda's stencilled sunshine is beautifully artistic and creatively executed; bravo!	2. Laurie's choice:Shawna's water color blocks are gorgeous, the colors so vibrant and fun. Congrats!	3. Linda's Choice: Betty's watercolored greenery makes me happy for sure! So simple but so beautiful!	4. Colleen's Choice: #59 Michelle. Very pretty with the gold chevron stripes and die cuts. Very Happy!
5. Nance's choice: Love Nancy's big, bold die-cut & the beautiful water coloring on it--bravo!	6. Claire's Choice: Julie's circular frame is perfect for her beautifully watercolored flowers. BRAVO	7. LeAnne's Choice: Aileen's stunning florals in brilliant tones really make her card stand out!

And now, for our Headliner:

Bhavanna

Bhavanna's card is gorgeous.  I love the texture and movement in the watercolored background; it feels effortless and free and the perfectly placed squares seem to create little mini creations as the watercoloring is different in each.   The bold, graphic hello stands jumps off the page and is not overwhelmed by the background.   A beautifully composed and crafted card.  Congratulations, Bhavanna, on being my Headliner for this week.

Hi there, friends of The Paper Players!  Nance here, delighted to be your hostess this week.  But first, thank you to everyone that played along with Sandy's Christmas in July challenge last week.  We enjoyed seeing all your holiday creations.  This week I have a color challenge for you...

We've labeled the colors with Stampin' Up names but, as always, if you don't have these exact colors just use something closely related.  I think these colors lend themselves to flowers and feminine creations but we are excited to see what else you can come up with!  Let's see what our Design Team created for your inspiration:

PP302 - A Theme Challenge from Sandy

Hi everyone! Sandy here with a new challenge for you. First off, thanks so much to everyone who played along with Joanne’s sketch challenge. It was so much fun to see all your interpretations.

We also have an announcement to make. We’ve been so thrilled with our Guest 

Designers, Linda, Hannelie and Colleen, that we asked them to stay on for another six months. We are SO excited that they all agreed. Hooray!

There were some wonderful entries in the gallery this week, but I kept coming back to Tenia's fun oriental penguin. I love the splash of red from the background panel and the washi tape corners, but the punny sentiment and googly eyes make this card a winner.
