PP267 - Challenge Winners

What a beautiful gallery of fall color and texture!  Thank you to all who played along with our CAS Leaves challenge.  As a transplanted Northerner living in Florida I, Nance, sure enjoyed seeing the riot of autumnal colors and images you created this week.  Before we get to my choice for Headliner, lets see what caught the eye of the design team:



And now, Nance's choice for Headliner:


Shannon's card radiates a stunning simplicity so perfect for the season.  It's pared down with ample white space but features bold colors and images that make a strong statement.  I love the pop of color in the offset mat and her coloring is superb.  Congrats, Shannon, you earned my choice as our Headliner this week!

PP267 - A CAS Challenge from Nance

Hi everyone, so glad you could join us this week for our Clean-and-Simple challenge!  First, big thanks to everyone that joined in with Jaydee's festive color combination last week.  This week, we are challenging you to use Leaves on a Clean-and-Simple project.  Right now, it's all about fall color here in the United States but the Design Team proves leaves can be used in many different ways, for many different seasons.  We can't wait to see what you are inspired to create!  But first, let's see what our fabulous Design Team created:

Challenge PP266 Winners

So, what caught my eye for headliner?

Julia's card is a stunner.   I loved all that wonderful white space that really allowed the elements to shine.   The placement of the sentiment keeps the card perfectly in balance.   The addition of the gold foil accents makes these colors look even richer.  Absolutely beautiful.   Julia, congratulations on being my Headliner this week.

The textures, colours and layering on Mackie's card blew me away this week: everything so beautifully co-ordinated, from the papers to the washi tape and that lovely line of goo! As for that bird - I think those glossy spiders need to beware, they may well soon be someone's treat!  Congratulations Mackie on being my Halloween headliner!

Broni's gorgeous Fall card stole my heart!  The beautiful watercolored background is perfect to showcase the spectacular leaves!!!  They just pop right off the card!  Congratulations, Broni, you made my sketch shine this week!
