Winners for PP241: A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Nance

I think my jaw hit the floor when I saw Alisa's beautiful card.  The combination of vibrant color with soft watercoloring catches the eye and makes for a beautifully striking design.  The white embossed edges of the image give such a soft look and the depth of her watercoloring is amazing.  Kudos, Alisa...this might just be the prettiest card I have seen with this stamp set!  Congratulations on being my choice for Headliner this week!

PP241: A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Nance

PP240 Winners

Happy Saturday everyone! Wow, you sure rocked my colour challenge this week - so many amazing gallery entries which paid wonderful creative homage to this trio of retiring in-colours. Before we get to this week's headliner--- let's see what caught the eye of the design team:

I love a Clean-and-Simple card but what won me over about Brian's card this week was his creative use of stamps and techniques to produce his CAS creation. He wasn't afraid to use huge blocks of colour to make a bold statement and the pairing of the Cheerful Critter bear with the celebratory balloon, along with the fearlessness with which he amputated the bear's other arm to achieve perfect positioning, earned him the accolade of being my headliner this week. You did it Brian - congratulations on being my COLOUR challenge headliner this week!

PP240 A Colour Challenge From Joanne

Hello everyone, it's Joanne here and my turn to host our challenge this week. You all did an amazing job with Jaydee's diecut challenge last week - so many wonderful entries! This week we have a colour challenge for you and in honour of Stampin' Up's 2013-15 In Colours, that are due to retire at the beginning of June, I thought I would choose three of them to showcase on our projects this week.

PP239 Winners

Amy's beautifully die-cut inlaid card is so striking and the effort that it took to put all those pieces back, was so worth it!   I love that she used the Adventure Bound grass DSP and the white embossed sentiment is perfect.  This card made my heart skip a beat and it was a great reminder that the butterflies will be here soon.   Congrats, Amy.  Your card is fabulous!

Colleen's adorable card caught my eye instantly!  Her attention to detail, the beautiful use of color, the paper pieced umbrella and the coloring is amazing!!!  I LOVE everything about this card!  Since April Showers bring May Flowers, this fabulous card had to be my Headliner this week!  Congratulations, Colleen!
