Challenge #256 Winners

Another week of amazing cards! It was wonderful to see such a variety of designs and they provided lots of great inspiration for us all.  Square cards are difficult for me - but you all made them look so easy!  I know we say this every week, but we really do appreciate you all playing along with us.

Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

1. Ann's Choice: Soft colors and awesome texture make Vicki's mountain scene adorable! Congrats!	2. Claire's Choice: Cornelia's faux textured metal card is gorgeous! It stands out in the gallery!	3. Nance's choice: Jan's card is a stunning twork of art! Gorgeous depth, dimension & colors. Bravo!	4. Sandy: Cori's adorable gnome and fun mix of patterned papers won me over! Congrats!
5. Laurie's choice: Nancy's cute duck sitting in the rain is adorable! Congrats!	6. Lisa:The shimmery focal and background DP are a perfect match on Seraphina's pretty card!	7. Joanne's choice: Elina's watercoloured beach is the perfect background - just beautiful!	8. Amy's Choice: I love Petra's beautiful, CAS card. The image is just perfect with the sponging!
9. LeAnne's Choice: Ann's sweet card features a quilt AND Halloween! I love that little kitty, too!

Now, let's take a look at our headliner

Desert Diva

Hannelie's bold, graphic, birthday card made my CAS-loving heart sing.   The stripes mixed with the softness of the centers of the a and the p's add so much interest and the little pearls were the perfect finishing touch.   The angled arrangement of the color blocks showcases a square card beautifully.   Then all of that wonderful white space allows the eye to settle and focus on the sentiment.   Gorgeous card.   Hannelie, congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week.

There were so many beautiful cards in the gallery but I kept coming back to Deanne's for another look. The scallops and stitching create a wonderful and delicate frame, her pretty tag has so much dimension, and those colors! De-lish! Congrats Deanne, you are my headliner this week!

 I love the sweet stamped frame, the placement of the enamel dots, and bold sentiment. All the white space draws the eye to the focal point of the card, a perfect CAS creation! Congratulations on being this week's headliner!
