Stef @ Ingenious Inkling

As a computer engineer, Stef's card made me laugh.  The only thing missing on this great shirt is a pocket protector with pens in every color!   I love the way she placed the darker grey piece in the background to help highlight it even more.  The square all askew was fabulous and the placement of the buttons is a great way to draw the eye to the main elements.   CAS perfection.  Congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week, Stef.

Woo hoo! It looks like many of you had a ball with our Happy Fall, Y'all theme challenge.   We loved seeing your different interpretations of fall.  From autumn leaves to halloween, and everything in-between, your creations were wonderful!  Before we get to this week's headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team:

1. Joanne's Choice: Karren's subtle sponging, stamping and bold 'hello' make for a fine fall tag card!	2. Sandy’s choice: Laurel’s soft fall colors, beautiful stitching and layered sentiment won me over!	3. Mike's Pick: Julies creation caught my eye with its artistic use of white space and CAS design! the
4. Andrea's Choice: Fantastic Fall leaves and the pop of Pool Party made Stef's card a real stand out.	5. LeAnne's Choice: Dawn's beautiful leaves and background evoke a warm, wonderful feeling! Congrats!	6. Claire's Choice: Nancy's funny witch with the golden broom made me smile! I love Halloween, too!
7. Laurie's choice: Marisa's bold colors and fun textures combined for a striking fall card!	8. Nance's choice: Lisa's card is gorgeous--trailing leaves, lovely layout & gorgeous stamping. Bravo!	9. Jaydee: Vicki's bold harlequin card was stunning. The background colors really pop the leaf.

I immediately fell in love with Mary Ann's card the moment I saw it! I love the depth and dimension of the torn paper hills.  The stamped and snipped the trees are definitely sporting the colors of autumn. And who can resist those adorable pumpkins?  They remind me of growing up on the farm, when we would head out to the pumpkin patch and pick out the best ones for jack-o-lanterns.  Congratulations....and happy fall, Mary Ann! You are my choice for Headliner this week!

Beth's Little Card Blog

Oh my goodness, Beth's adorable little sailboat card stole my heart!  With it's personalized sail and starry sky, this little boat looks like it sailed right off the pages of a children's book!  The diminutive size of the focal image is just the perfect scale for a young child's birthday card and the personalized sailboat will surely be adored by the birthday boy!  Congratulations Beth, you sailed away with this Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!
