              Darnell has been taking water coloring classes and created this beautiful card for the challenge! I just love the leaf embossed mask with the pretty splattering. The tiny heart on the sentiment "hope" is SO sweet! Congratulations, Darnell!

Jenny’s “birthday cod" just made me smile! How cute is that little polka dot penguin?! I just loved the fun details she added to her card, like the glittery glacier snd the itty bitty party hat. But that tiny fish with the bow was the perfect touch to go along with that “punny” sentiment. Absolutely adorable! Congratulations Jenny on being my choice for our Headliner this week!

PP245 Jaydee's CAS Challenge Winners

I fell in love with Sharon's pink and girlie confection.  The ombre pink dots with the whimsical vellum butterfly are just perfect together.  I love the way her pearls echo the dots in the background and yet don't take your eye away from the overall composition.  The soft sentiment is perfectly placed.  An all round CAS perfection card.  Congratulations, Sharon on being my Headliner this week.

Special Announcement from the Paper Players!

Greetings everyone! We wanted to share some exciting news here at The Paper Players today! 

 Starting with our June 7th challenge, we will be welcoming 3 new Guest Designers to our team. We are very excited to have these ladies join us and asked them to share a little bit about themselves.
Amy Koenders

I’m Amy Koenders, I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for about 3 years and I’ve been stamping for about 5 years.  I took many art classes when I was much younger and have always enjoyed painting and creating.  I’m glad that I’ve found such a fun hobby to share with so many others.  I’m married to my wonderful husband Lance, who has graciously put up with my stamping habit (and ever growing stash) without complaining a bit.  I’m also a runner and have finished many road races in every distance from 5K to Marathon.  I’m easy to spot out on the road, I’m the one with sweaty ink smudges on my forehead and glitter stuck in my hair.

Hello! I'm so very grateful to have been invited to guest design with this talented team. Thanks Anne Marie! I live in Ohio with my high school sweetheart husband. We are blessed with one amazing son, his beautiful wife and a 6 month old granddaughter who is the light of our life! I'm a former floral designer/instructor and now stay at home wife who cares for our granddaughter while our son & daughter-in-law work. I've been a polka dot loving stamper for about 15 years, a blogger since 2011. I hope I can bring you a bit of inspiration here at the Paper Players over the next 6 months!


Jodi McKinney



Hi, my name is Jodi McKinney.  What a thrill and honor it is to be asked to be a part of The Paper Players Design Team as a Guest Designer!  Stamping and "paper playing" is something I do at "life in between" - the fun times in life when we get to choose what we want to do instead of doing those things we have to do.

I am a wife of 33 years, mom of two grown sons, and Director of Corporate Communications for a home health and hospice company.  I live in Mars, PA - for real!  

There are never enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to do, discover all the things I want to learn, and spend enough time with the people I love.  In addition to stamping, I love to bake and cook, I am an amateur photographer, and I am trying to teach myself to watercolor.  

I love creating one-of-a-kind cards that are created specifically for the individuals they are created for... gifts of HeART.

PP245: A CAS Challenge From Jaydee

Hi Everyone.   Before I get to the challenge this week, a huge shout out to all our players last week.  There were so many amazing submissions that it was very difficult for us to each choose a winner for LeAnne's great color challenge.

It's my pleasure to host our challenge this week and I have a Clean-and-Simple challenge for you, Clean-and-Simple "Girly Thanks".   Our design team has created some fabulous cards as inspiration for you - but we can't wait to see what you do with it!
