PP229 - Jaydee's Sketch Challenge Winners

Hi Everyone.

What another amazing week of fabulous cards in the gallery.  It was very difficult - as always - for us to choose our winners.  Thank you all for playing along with my challenge this week.

Before we get to my headliner.... let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

1. Karren's Choice: Crystal's card is so bright and cheerful and those little birds are adorable!	2. LeAnne's Choice: Hayley's embossing and doily make a perfect backdrop for her beautiful flower!	3. Shannon's Choice: I adore Brian's choice of bright colors and clean lines! LOVE this card!!	4. Nance's choice: Love Amanda's bright & colorful use of our sketch and this stamp set! Bravo!
5. Claire's Choice: Lisa's cute moose made me smile! I adore the bright, fun colors! Congrats, Lisa!	6. Laurie's choice: Michelle's bold, vibrant card is so fun,great design!	7. Joanne's Choice: Sandi's serious kitty and alternative use of the sketch is a winner!	8. Debbie's Choice: Christy's stippled blossom caught my eye immediately-Gorgeous! Congrats!
9. Sandy's choice: Jen's sweet little vases with tiny flowers are perfect on the wood "table"!	10. Ann's Choice: Who can resist a blinged butterfly paired with polka dot paper? Not I. Congrats, Stef!

And now our headliner:

Lisa
At Home Stamping

Lisa's card is absolutely beautiful.  The versa mark stamped image on the background is the perfect backdrop to her focal point.  The soft blues and pinks are so perfect for spring and I love the way she stamped the sentiment in a way that it was surrounded by the image.   The little blue strip above the striped paper carries the blue from the image across the card and the vertical stripes carry the eye up the card.   Just perfect.   Congratulations, Lisa

Hi everyone!  LeAnne here as your hostess today!  It was wonderful gazing at all the lovely creations you made with Ann's colors last week!  This week we have a clean and simple challenge for you:  we want to see sentiments as the focus on your cards!  DSP and other embellishments are welcome, but remember that it IS a clean and simple challenge, so use a minimum of layers and doodads!!!  There are so many big, bold sentiments in the stamping world these days...put them to use!  We look forward to seeing your creations!

Paper Players Challenge #227 Winners: Ann's Color Challenge

Wow!  You certainly knocked our socks off with how you embraced this week's color challenge! It was amazing to see how each of you used Crisp Cantaloupe, Lost Lagoon, and Sahara Sand in such a variety of beautiful and creative ways. We definitely had a difficult task of narrowing down the winners.  Before we get to Ann's choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of our design team:

Shawna's beautiful card caught my eye with its vibrant hues. The stunning bokeh background featured Lost Lagoon over a darker base color.  The tan embossed ferns add a touch of yummy texture.  Although she did not have Crisp Cantaloupe on hand, Shawna was able to blend Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo to color the roses. Congrats, Shawna, on being our Headliner this week!

Welcome to The Paper Players!  We loved seeing how you reused and repurposed items in Anne Marie's challenge last week.  Now we can't wait to see what you create for our first color challenge of the new year!  What a fresh trio of colors it is!
