PP398 Challenge Winners

Hi Everyone. 
Thank you to all of you who played along this week.  The variety of creations was amazing and we all had such fun visiting with each and everyone of your cards.

It was a tough decision, but we finally settled on our winners.

Jenny's gorgeous bird was so perfectly water colored.  I also love how she anchored the bird with the abstract leaves and the branch.  There is so much wonderful white space around here bird and that space allows the bird to shine.  The white embossing on the grey card stock was the perfect finishing touch.   Gorgeous card.    Jenny, congratulations on being my HEADLINER this week.

PP398 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  Jaydee here and it is my pleasure to host our 398th challenge!  It's a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge with a theme.  We loved the wonderful creations that you submitted using Nance's fresh and bold color scheme last week and we can't wait to see what you do with our challenge this week.

PP397 Challenge Winners

There were so many beautiful creations in the gallery this week!  We enjoy seeing how each of you are inspired by our challenges, it's always a thrill.  Thank you to everyone who played along with us.  Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the Design Team this week.
And now for our Headliner:
Danni Bindel
Danni's Dreams

Danni's beautiful card uses the silhouette and masking techniques, two favorites of mine.  Her sunset background uses all the challenge colors to great effect and the masked panel keeps the bright colors from being too dominant.  I love the look of the silhouette flowers and butterflies against this backdrop. She also achieves a perfect visual balance in her layout with the largest butterfly and sentiment on one side balanced by the tallest flower on the left.  All together it makes a stunning card worthy of our  headliner, congratulations Danni!

Cornelia - Stempel Spass (Fun Stamping)

Cornelia's cute kitty really made me chuckle - as angelic as she looks, I'm sure she would be mischief for those birds! I love the combination of the stamped image, grounded by the washi tape, and the dry embossing for the uncoloured birds on a wire, almost as if they aren't meant to be seen. The combination of image and sentiment truly sums up my theme; congratulations Cornelia on being my headliner this week!
